Quick Tips for Success

Link Generator

The  link  generator  tool  allows  you  to  create  various  HTML links  that,  when  published  and  clicked  on,  are  linked  to  your  Lead  Sign-up  Forms  or  Web  Pages.  These  “links” can be published on a Website, Web Blog, Email, Intranet site, or other HTML based forum.

Types of Links

You can create various types of links, including:

Hyperlink:
A link in an HTML document that when clicked on leads to a web page, or prospect signup form.
Hyperlinks are usually underlined or shown in a different color.

Text Link:
Text that is hyperlinked to a web page or prospect signup form.

Button:
A clickable box that is hyperlinked to a web page or a prospect signup form. A button may
have text in the button. For example, text saying "Click Here" can be clicked on to take
the prospect to a different web page or prospect signup form.

Image Link:
Image from Library Generator that is hyperlinked to a web page or prospect signup form.

Embedded in Page (Iframe):
Embeds a web page or prospect signup form into a web page.

**Note: Where and how you want your link placed will determine which link will be best.

Create a Link

Step 1:     Choose a Form Type. You can choose:

                  1. A Prospect Signup Form
                  2. A System Web Page
                  3. An External Web Page

Step 2:     If you choose a System Web Page, the window will refresh and your next field will
                  now say "Page Name".
Step 3:     Select a web page from the dropdown menu.
Step 4:     Now, choose the "Link Type".  In Link Type field, choose (example) "Text Link". If you want this
page to be a popup, put a check into the box. (Remember, Popup block technology
is on most new computers, so be aware of your audience). The Window will
refresh again and you can set the size of the "pop-up" window. The second set
up numbers is the "height" of the page.
Step 5:     In the Link Text field, type in the wording you want. Example: "Click here to Learn
                  More!"
Step 6:     Click the "Generate Link" button. You will now see the code. The text is underlined
                  and colored.
Step 7:     Click "Copy Code". The code will now be on your "clipboard" and is able to be
pasted into a webpage or into an email - ready to be sent to the owner of a
webpage, placed on a blog, or any html web page.

Publish a Link

In today’s internet world, most “do it yourself” pages allow a User to embed HTML code into a web page. Using Link Generator, simply copy the HTML code created and paste the HTML code into the web page. When the page is viewable - the pasted coded will display in the format you created it. As an example, if you created a link to an image - you will view the image and when the image is clicked on, be brought to the web page or signup form the image was linked to.
