Images

The Library Generator is where all compliant and approved images are stored. These images may be used throughout the system to support your marketing initiatives. 

Shared Images

Shared Images are images created by the marketing department, and "shared" to assist in building marketing campaigns throughout the NETGEN system. All shared images are fully compliant and may also be downloaded.

Add an Image

Images uploaded can vary in pixels based on the usage of the image. All images that will be used for print material should be a minimum of 300 dpi resolution. Images for Web usage should be a minimum of 72 dpi resolution. Images should also be jpg, gif, tiff or png files.

Add Image
Step 1:     Click on Library Generator, then on the Images sub tab.
Step 2:     In the Images block, click Add Image. The window will refresh.
Step 3:     Name the Image.
Step 4:     Organize Image in a folder. Optional
Step 5:     Browse your computer for the image you wish to upload.
Step 6:     Click Save Changes.

Wait for your window to refresh before clicking any buttons. When your window refreshes, your Image is now available in your Library Generator.

Preview Image
Step 1:     Click on the name of the image. Image will display under Preview Image.
Step 2:     Click Show Image Editor to size and crop the image.

Re-size and Crop an Image

The image cropper tool allows you to re-size and crop an image that is uploaded in your account.  For Example, if you have a photo that you would like to use, but only want to use a specific part of the photo, you can use the Image Cropper tool to crop out all areas of the photo that you do not want to be displayed.  Once your image is cropped, you will not be able to "un-crop".

Crop an Image 
Step 1:     Click on Library Generator, then on the Images sub tab.
Step 2:     In the Images block, click on the name of an image.
                The window will refresh.
Step 3:     In the Image Preview block click on "Show Image Editor".
                The window will refresh.
Step 4:     You can change the size of the image by clicking on the image by clicking the
                 Image Resize (-) or (+) buttons. Each click represents a 25% increase or
                 decrease in size.
Step 5:      In the upper left side of your image, you will see a gray box. This box represents what 
                 part of your image will be seen once your image is cropped. To move the box, use the Image Editor arrows (below) to position the gray box on the image. The (-) and (+) buttons will make the gray box larger or smaller. The box will always increase or decrease in equal proportions.

               

                 

                 
Step 6:     When you are finished click "Crop". The window will refresh with the new image.
Step 7:     Click Back to Preview.

Your new cropped image will now be available for use in NetGen.

Manage Slideshow Images

Slideshow Images are images uploaded in your Library Generator and placed in the "Location Images" folder. All images in the "Location Images" folder will display as a "slideshow" where the Tools: Slideshow has been used on your Network Pages and Build Your Own Web Pages.

Add Images to Location Images
Step 1:     Click on Library Generator
Step 2:     Click Add Image.
Step 3:     Name the Image.
Step 4:     From the dropdown menu under Folder, choose Location Images.
Step 5:     Choose an Image to upload from your computer.
Step 6:     Click Save Changes.

Follow the same steps to add more images to Location Images.

**This feature may not be available for your network.

Add an Image to your My Signature

Personalize your My Signature with a photo. Images are loaded and cropped in the Library Generator.
To edit your signature see Edit Your Account, Edit Fields in My Signature.

Add an Image
Step 1:     Click on the Library Generator tab.
Step 2:     Click on the Images sub tab.
Step 3:     Click Add Image. The window will refresh.
Step 4:     Name the Image.
Step 5:     Categorize your Image in a folder. Optional
Step 6:     Browse your computer for the image you wish to upload.
Step 7:     Click Save Changes.

Preview Image
Step 1:     Click on the name of an image. 
                  The window will refresh.
Step 2:      In the Image Preview block, you can preview the image, and crop the image.

Choose My Signature Image in Account Settings
Step 1:     Click on Account Settings.
Step 2:     Under Edit User Account, navigate to My Signature Image field.
Step 3:     Click the dropdown menu and choose an image.
Step 4:     Click Save Changes.

Your chosen image will now display on your My Signature.
