Building Folders

The Folder system enables administrators and users to organize all content. By organizing all content in folders, you have the ability to group web pages, layouts, templates, pre-defined regions, images, documents, and media. By using the folder filter drop down located throughout NetGen, access to all content is streamlined. In combination with the Sharing feature, the administrators can share certain folders for users to use but not edit. You can choose to share a folder after you have created it by clicking the folder and choose the permission level you would like to share with.

Add Folders

Folders allow you to group content for easy organization. When adding a folder the naming convention you use should quickly reference the content within that folder across the system.

Example: Folder named: Executive Team
Within this folder you would expect images, text, templates, etc. When building the executive web page, all content for this page will already be groupped in this folder making for easy management.

1   Click on Content Library.
2   Click on the Folders sub tab.
3   Click Add Folder.
4   Name the Folder.
5   Click Save Changes.

Delete Folders

1   Click on Content Library.
2   Click on the Folders sub tab.
3   Click the check box next to the folder you want to delete.
4   Click Delete Selected.
