About Support Generator

The User Management Support Generator has been designed to help you become familiar with the NetGen application, and user permission groups. By becoming an expert of the NetGen application as well as the Support Generator, you will be able to quickly assist users within your network and expedite the support process.

For users within your network, we have created a User Support Generator for each permission group within your network. The User Support Generator, gives step by step instructions on how to utilize the NetGen application. This is available to administrators in the left navigation. Users have access to the Support Generator by logging in and clicking on the Support tab. Since the permission group of each user varies, it is important to understand the functions allowed in each permission group. This will help you answer questions, and offer support specific to the user's permission group.

Administrators have permissions that allow access to modules, and functions within the modules to support users within your network. While some permissions have been set that allow administrators to update a user's account settings, all user content updates will need to be administered by the user. This allows a user to become familiar with their account, content within their account, and the entire NetGen application. This also expedites user assistance and puts the "actions" in the responsibility of the user. For example, a user may need assistance with adding an image to their signature. Your responsibility will be to guide them to the Support Generator and if needed walk them through the process. The Support Generator gives a user step by step instructions on how to accomplish this task and has been designed to give immediate support.
